Confession

I have a confession.  I have allowed Start #1 to be a convenient diversion from something else that I started before this blog and have since not finished.  If I am really going to test the purpose of this blog, I feel it's important for me to own up.

We (Andy and I) need to get on a better financial path; we are overdue, and in more ways than one!  A friend recommended Dave Ramsey's book, Total Money Makeover.  The book is sitting on my night stand, probably with dust on the bookmark exactly where I left it in page 110.  Just two nights ago I finished the other project I've been wanting to complete for weeks, so now it's time to return.  My intention is that by committing here on the page, I will have to follow through to finish.  My goal is to at least finish the book, and then determine if/how we will start our money makeover, which will be Start #2.

For this moment, I don't think that I'll document the other project I just finished because I didn't start it here.  As this blog in its early stages is a work in progress of my life at present; reaching towards follow through, incorporating daily positivity, as well as returning to my writing, so will the starts and finishes be about the process and progress.

Goodnight!  I'm off to bed to read.
